Children's Trust Account

The So-Use Trust Account for children up to 18 years of age is a terrific way to save for your child's future. The Trust Account earns daily interest, plus pays a bonus of $1 for every $100 deposited. Deposits are insured with the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.


Owl Account

Owl Account for children ages 2-10. The Owl Account is a fun way to teach your child wise money management. Children receive their very own starter kit, including a savings passbook. Special gifts, events and rewards for reaching certain goals, make the Owl Account an exciting way to save. As a bonus, Owl account holders receive $10 towards their initial share requirement of only $25. Deposits are insured with the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.


Headstart Account

The Headstart account for our members ages 11-18. The Headstart account introduces youths to electronic banking. Their very own Membercard and P.I.N. (Personal Identification Number) gives them access to their account through any So-Use ATM, the INTERAC network, telephone banking through So-Use Voice and online banking. As a bonus, Headstart account holders receive $50 towards their initial share requirement of $100 and gift certificates for maintaining term deposit investments. Deposits are insured with the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.


Student Service Account

Our account package of financial services designed especially for university and college students includes free cheque writing, a line of credit, a So-Use Mastercard, and a So-Use Membercard which gives students access to their account through any So-Use ATM, the INTERAC network, telephone banking through So-Use Voice and online banking. In addition, Student Service account holders receive $100 towards their So-Use Credit Union share requirement of $250. As a benefit, each student has the opportunity to apply for the scholarship and sports bursary programs. Deposits are insured with the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.
